Vignesh Durai, Senior Resident in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Jipmer has secured All India Rank (AIR) 1 in the Institute of National Importance Super Speciality (INI-SS) Examination – January 2026 session, conducted by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.
The resident doctor, who completed his MBBS from Stanley Medical College, Chennai (2013–2019) and pursued his MS in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Jipmer (2020–2022), topped the highly competitive INI-SS examination for the M.Ch. (Gynaecologic Oncology) course.
Felicitating Dr. Vignesh Durai on the achievement, the Director and faculty of Jipmer wished him continued success in his future academic and professional endeavours, according to a press note.
