Karo Sambhav raises ₹56 crore in pre-series A funding round

Gurugram-based circular economy and recycling startup Karo Sambhav has raised ₹56 crore in a Pre-Series A funding round from Rainmatter by Zerodha to expand its recycling infrastructure and strengthen recovery of critical and precious materials from e-waste and allied waste streams. The fresh capital will be used to build high-quality recycling infrastructure focused initially on e-waste, which contains valuable metals and components.

Founded in 2017 by Pranshu Singhal, Karo Sambhav has operated as a bootstrapped company for nine years. The start-up currently runs two recycling facilities, has established collection channels across more than 50 cities in India and has channelised over 1,50,000 metric tonnes of waste for responsible recycling.
