Amid scant summer rainfall, parts of Kerala continued to experience hot and humid conditions, with several districts recording high temperatures.
According to 24-hour data released by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) at 8.30 am on Monday (April 27, 2026), Palakkad recorded the highest temperature in the State, with the maximum temperature registering 40.1 degrees Celsius. It was followed by Punalur in Kollam district, which recorded 39.5 degrees Celsius.
