Kurnool civic chief expresses dissatisfaction over sanitation conditions

Kurnool Municipal Corporation (KMC) Commissioner Challa Obulesu has expressed dissatisfaction over the maintenance of sanitation in some parts of the city and also the lack of quality in the food served at an Anna Canteen in the district Collectorate premises.

Mr. Obulesu inspected the sanitation conditions in Kummarigeri, Gadiyaram Hospital, Pedda Market, Joharapuram and Gandhi Nagar areas on Monday (May 04) morning. At these places, he found that the shops did not keep dust bins, which was made mandatory, and the area lacked cleanliness. He instructed the sanitary inspection staff to take steps for improving sanitation and ensure that a dust bin is placed at the shops and garbage is collected from them without fail. He also asked the sanitation staff to ensure that the traders use the tractor trollies to dispose of their garbage.
