Leaders extol Lord Rama’s ideals of dharma and good governance

Leaders from across political parties greeted people on the auspicious occasion of Sri Rama Navami on Friday, emphasising the timeless ideals of dharma, righteousness, and ideal governance embodied by Lord Rama.

In his greetings, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu described Lord Rama as the embodiment of dharma, an ideal ruler, and a symbol of righteous governance. “Sri Rama Navami marks both the birth and celestial wedding of Lord Rama,” he said, and called upon people to discharge their duties and strive for establishment of “Rama Rajya” — a just and welfare-oriented society. “May the divine blessings of Lord Rama guide every individual towards a virtuous and exemplary life,” he said.

Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan referred to the saying, “Ramo Vigrahavan Dharmah”, and said that Lord Rama was the very personification of dharma. “Sri Rama Chandra represents morality, righteousness, and ideal living,” he said, adding that the tradition of celebrating Sri Rama Navami through recitations and celestial wedding of Goddess Sita and Lord Rama reflected the deep cultural roots of these values in Indian society.

HRD Minister Nara Lokesh described Lord Rama as the ultimate symbol of dharma, and stated that “Rama Rajya” remained an eternal model of good governance. He expressed hope that the divine blessings of Goddess Sita and Lord Rama bring peace and prosperity to all.

YSR Congress Party president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy recalled Lord Rama’s unwavering commitment to truth and sacrifice, noting how he renounced his kingdom and endured exile to honour his word. “Lord Rama’s steadfast adherence to dharma despite hardships makes him an eternal inspiration,” he said.

BJP State president P.V.N. Madhav expressed hope that with the blessings of Lord Rama, unity and prosperity would flourish across the State. He urged people to imbibe Lord Rama’s virtues of truthfulness, duty, and righteousness in their daily lives.
