Lions Clubs International District 3241F conducted various service projects, including medical camps, tree plantation, hunger relief and aids distribution to underprivileged people at 15 places across the city on Thursday in view of World Service Day.
A press release said Lions District governor Uma Anilkumar distributed spectacles to beneficiaries at the medical and eye screening camp held at K.K. Nagar Sivan Park. The Lions International theme for this year is ‘Rooted in Service’.
Udayakumar, club’s district cabinet secretary, Sivakumar, cabinet treasure,r and Gopinath, district chairperson for the welfare of persons with disabilities participated in the event.
