Lokayukta probe team visits Bowring hospital after fatal wall collapse

A special team constituted by the Karnataka Lokayukta on Monday visited Bowring and Lady Curzon Hospital following the compound wall collapse in Shivajinagar that left seven people dead, including a minor girl, during heavy rain.

The Lokayukta has taken suo motu cognisance of the case and has ordered a detailed probe into the April 29 incident. A case has been registered against the chief secretary and other officials concerned for alleged negligence.
