A 23-year-old man was killed in a road accident after his motorcycle rammed into another bike whose rider took a sudden turn at high speed on Pahadishareef road on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Mohd Aman, a resident of Mehdipatnam. According to the police, he was travelling along Errakunta road towards Chandrayangutta at the time of the accident.
Another biker, later found to be a minor, was riding at high speed and abruptly turned on the stretch, said the police. “Aman, who was approaching from behind, was unable to control his vehicle and crashed into the bike, falling onto the road and sustaining serious injuries,” explained the officer.
He was immediately shifted to a private hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The police have taken the minor into custody and issued a notice to his parents. A case has been registered and further investigation is under way.
