Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that he reviewed bilateral cooperation in trade, defence, energy, critical technologies and other areas with the United States (U.S.) in a conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday (September 30, 2026).
“Had a productive conversation with President Trump,” shared Mr. Modi in a post on X.
“We agreed to maintain close engagement to take our Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership forward,” the social media post read.
Mr. Modi shared that the two leaders exchanged their perspectives on both regional and national issues. They also discussed ideas regarding ongoing efforts to advance global peace and security.
