Radhatri Nethralaya, a tertiary eye-care hospital in Chennai, will organise ‘Nethra ’26: A Night of Music and Hope’ on October 10 to raise awareness on Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP), a potentially blinding eye condition affecting premature babies.

The event, featuring popular Kerala-based band AGAM, will be held at 6 p.m. at The Music Academy. ROP affects the developing retina of premature babies and can lead to vision loss if not treated early. Radhatri Nethralaya, under the aegis of its public charitable trust Gurupriya Vision Research Foundation, has been involved in screening premature babies from underprivileged families.
