A 23-year-old painter, Nammi Ramu, was found dead under suspicious conditions at his house in Thallakodu village of Akiveedu mandal in West Godavari district on Tuesday.
West Godavari Superintendent of Police Adnan Nayeem Asmi said that the head and body of the deceased were found separately. Ramu has been missing since January 14, reportedly after he was questioned by his grandfather, Simhachalam, for selling his two-wheeler and cellphone.
A case has been registered and investigation is on.
