Nagapattinam district police hold modern weapons handling training

The Nagapattinam district police conducted a training programme on handling modern weapons as part of efforts to strengthen security and ensure effective performance during law-and-order duties on Saturday.

Officials said such continuous training programmes were essential to equip police personnel to respond efficiently to emerging security challenges. Police officers and personnel who participated in the programme shared their operational experiences during the sessions.

Addressing the trainees, Nagapattinam Superintendent of Police K. S. Balakrishnan shared his own training experiences and provided practical inputs on dealing with dangerous offenders. He also imparted key instructions on the safe and effective handling of modern weapons in extraordinary situations and during law-and-order contingencies
