Naidu praises NTR institutions for shaping future leaders

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu attended the annual day celebrations of the NTR Educational Institutions in Hyderabad on Saturday and lauded the role of the Trust and its management in shaping future leaders.

Recalling his early days, Mr. Naidu said Gandipeta had once served as a training centre for political leaders and was now nurturing students for a brighter tomorrow. He said the institutions were founded to support children from families affected by factional violence and road accidents. Beginning with 131 students, the institutions now educate 1,641 students, a growth he attributed to the effective management of the Trust and educational institutions by Ms. Nara Bhuvaneswari.

The Chief Minister highlighted the achievements of students, stating that several had cleared Group I examinations, secured junior civil judge posts and gained admission to premier educational institutions across the country. He noted that the institutions had completed multiple SSC, CBSE, Intermediate and degree batches, producing accomplished professionals who had gone on to study at prestigious universities such as NALSAR and NLU.

Mr. Naidu also lauded the Trust’s social initiatives, including free blood transfusions for children suffering from thalassemia, healthcare services to millions through Sanjeevani clinics and the supply of safe drinking water during natural disasters. He congratulated Ms. Bhuvaneswari on receiving two awards from the London Institute of Directors, including the Golden Peacock Award for exceptional leadership.

Expressing pride in the institution’s commitment to social equality and education, Mr. Naidu said the Telugu Desam Party was the only political party running such a Trust to impart education and serve society in a sustained manner.
