Newly-appointed BJP in-charge for U.T. holds meeting with senior functionaries

The newly-appointed in-charge for BJP’s Puducherry unit K. Surendran held a meeting with senior functionaries of the party. Mr. Surendran, who served as BJP’s Kerala unit president, was recently appointed in-charge of Puducherry. 

According to a BJP leader, Mr. Surendran was on a two-day visit to Puducherry to familiarise himself with the party affairs in the Union Territory. He held several meetings with leaders of BJP’s various frontal organisations and attended a core committee meeting. The meeting discussed several organisational matters, the leader said.
