The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Department of NMDC Bacheli has rolled out a major outreach initiative aimed at fostering holistic rural development and preserving local cultural traditions across villages surrounding its project area.
Fulfilling direct appeals from local sarpanches, the administration distributed essential community infrastructure, including tent materials, high-grade sound systems and LED televisions, to 12 gram panchayats on Tuesday (September 22, 2026).
Speaking as the chief guest at the distribution ceremony, Mahesh Nair, General Manager (HR), said that the programme mirrored NMDC’s enduring dedication to inclusive growth.
The event also witnessed the presence of senior officials, including DGM (HR) K. Lakshmi Nagveni, DGM (CSR) Josey Thomas, DGM (Civil) S.R. Dehariya and DGM (HR) Saurabh Kumar.
