VS Hospitals opened its third super-specialty hospital in the city on Tuesday. Located in Tondiarpet, the new facility is designed for comprehensive cancer care and advanced medical services for residents of north Chennai.Â
To promote awareness and encourage early detection, the hospital will offer free breast cancer screening services until the end of this month.
The hospital was inaugurated by S. Subramanian, Chairman & Managing Director of VS Hospitals in the presence of G.K. Vasan, president of Tamil Maanila Congress. Sundar Subramanian, Medical Director; Muthu Subramanian, Executive Director; and Prassanna Srinivasan, Group Chief Operational Officer of VS Hospitals were present. The hospital now operates with a capacity of 130 beds and a team of 200 medical and paramedical professionals.
