Notification in a week for recruitment to 56,834 vacant posts, says Home Minister

Home Minister G. Parameshwara has said that a notification for recruitment to 56,834 vacant posts across various State government departments is expected to be issued within a week signalling a major push to strengthen administrative capacity.

Addressing presspersons at the Police Commissioner’s office here on Tuesday, Dr. Parameshwara said that delays in recruitment has largely stemmed from issues related to internal reservation which have now been resolved.
