Several social organisations conducted a roadblock protesting the pathetic condition of Kaana-MRPL four-lane road on Tuesday in Mangaluru.

The Kaana unit of the Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI), the Autorickshaw Drivers’ Association (CITU), and the Nagarika Horata Samiti, Kaana, organised a roadblock, protesting the apathy of government agencies in the upkeep of the Kaana-MRPL four-lane road.
Demanding early completion of the four-lane road work, the organisations decried that the authorities concerned have turned a blind eye despite accidents repeatedly occurring on the stretch because of the bad condition of the road.
