Organs harvested from five-year-old boy give new lease of life to four persons

Organs harvested from an five-year-old boy, who was declared brain dead following an accident, saved the lives of four persons. The donor has been identified as V. Sivadhitya, son of S Vignesh from Udumalpet in Tiruppur district. 

Sivadhitya and his grandfather met with a road accident recently and were shifted to Royal Care Super Speciality Hospital in Coimbatore for treatment. The boy did not respond to treatment and was declared brain dead on Thursday (March 12, 2026).
