Controller of Defence Accounts (CDA) Secunderabad and Department of Sainik Welfare Board (SWB) organised SPARSH (System for Pension Administration – Raksha) outreach programme in Visakhapatnam on Thursday.
T. Ram Murthy, deputy controller of Defence Accounts, inaugurated the programme.
Colonel Anup Sanmotra of SWB, addressing the gathering, said that more than 350 pensioners from Visakhapatnam and nearby districts attended.
The programme is aimed at educating pensioners and family pensioners about the various facilities provided by SPARSH including the grievance redressal mechanism and providing pension related services at the doorsteps of pensioners, he added.
