A total of 50,813 applications were submitted across Coimbatore constituencies during the special camps held on December 27 and 28 for electoral roll inclusion, deletion, and correction.
Of these, 35,065 were Form 6 for new voter registration, 813 were Form 7 for deletion of names, and 14,935 were Form 8 for correction of entries
Mettupalayam recorded 4,818 forms (3,147 Form 6, 87 Form 7, 1,584 Form 8). Sulur received 4,276 forms (2,439 Form 6, 59 Form 7, 1,778 Form 8). Kavundampalayam saw the highest activity with 11,021 forms (7,353 Form 6, 41 Form 7, 3,627 Form 8).
Coimbatore (North) handled 5,350 forms (3,701 Form 6,150 Form 7, 1,499 Form 8), while Thondamuthur processed 5,852 forms (4,275 Form 6, 96 Form 7, 1,481 Form 8). Coimbatore (South) recorded 2,780 forms (2,224 Form 6, 69 Form 7, 487 Form 8).
Singanallur received 4,068 forms (2,946 Form 6, 74 Form 7, 1,048 Form 8). Kinathukadavu saw 6,028 forms (4,342 Form 6, 87 Form 7, 1,599 Form 8). Pollachi handled 3,479 forms (2,481 Form 6, 67 Form 7, 931 Form 8), while Valparai recorded 3,141 forms (2,157 Form 6, 83 Form 7, 901 Form 8).
Inspecting the camp held at Mettupalayam on Sunday, District Monitoring Officer A.R. Rahul Nath, along with District Collector Pavankumar G. Giriyappanavar, urged officials to ensure smooth completion of the ongoing camps and encouraged voters to verify their details.
The next special camps are scheduled for January 3 and 4, 2026, and the final electoral roll will be released on February 17, 2026.
