The office of the Principal Accountant General (A&E), Andhra Pradesh is conducting a State-wide campaign titled, “Pension Adalat – Principal Accountant General (PAG) at Your District.” The campaign aims to guide Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs)/Pension Sanctioning Authorities (PSAs) of different government departments, while creating awareness among employees and pensioners regarding the timely and proper submission of pension proposals.
The drive seeks to ensures that pensionary benefits are authorised before the date of retirement of employees. In addition, it also aims to bring the officials closer to pensioners and DDOs, for addressing their grievances and resolving long-pending issues.
The pension adalat will be held at Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (VUDA) Children’s Theatre in Visakhapatnam on December 19. District Collector M.N. Harendhira Prasad will presided over the programme.
S. Shanti Priya, Principal Accountant General (A&E), Andhra Pradesh, S. Khushal Karthik, Senior Deputy Accountant General (Accounts & Entitlements), S Balaji, senior accounts officer / pensions, T Vijay Kumar, senior accounts officer / pensions, Chandra Sekhar, senior accounts officer / GPF, G. Rajasekhar, senior accounts officer/accounts, and Lakshmi Vijaya Durga, senior accounts officer/accounts will participate in the programme.
Officials from various departments in the government of A.P., and State government pensioners of Visakhapatnam district have been asked to make the programme a success.
Srikakulam
The pension adalat for Srikakulam district will be conducted at the Zilla Parishad Office, ZP Road, L.B.S Colony, Srikakulam. on December 18.
