Police deny ‘untrue’ reports of missing juvenile in Uttam Nagar Holi violence

The Delhi police on Wednesday dispelled “rumours” circulating on social media that a minor accused in the Uttam Nagar Holi clash, which led to the death of 26-year-old Tarun Butolia, was missing, saying the teenager has already been apprehended and sent to an observation home as per legal procedure.

Police issued the clarification after a video circulated on social media in which a woman, allegedly related to one of the accused, said that her 14-year-old cousin had been missing since the day of the incident, prompting questions online about his whereabouts.
