Police initiate probe after fisherman goes misssing

A 58-year-old person has been reported missing after he went fishing on Tuesday. A senior official of the city police said P. Mani, a resident of Indira Nagar in Kasimedu, along with six other fishermen, had left the harbour for fishing on Tuesday, and turned back that night. The group found Mani missing when they woke up after the boat reached the shore on Wednesday.

Based on a complaint filed by the boat owner, the Fishing Harbour police filed a case and are investigating.
