The results of ‘Electron Vibe – HackAP Hackathon’, jointly organised by Andhra Pradesh power sector utilities, were announced by APEPDCL chairperson and managing director Immadi Prudhvitej on Sunday (December 21).
The hackathon was conducted jointly by APEPDCL, APCPDCL and APSPDCL under the aegis of the Centre of Excellence for Energy Transition (CoEET) and Clean Climate Foundation (CCF) at the CoEET building at Sagar Nagar here. Aumsat, I Senses, Aerovhyn, Smart Grid and Voltwise emerged as winners in successive positions.
APSPDCL CMD Shivashankar Lotheti, AP-TRANSCO JMD G. Suryasai Praveen Chand and APEPDCL CMD Immadi Prudhvitej presented mementos to the winners. This hackathon’s objective is to foster healthy competition and creativity among institutions, strengthen startup ecosystems, allocate pilot projects in power utilities and create employment opportunities for youth, the EPDCL CMD added.
