A robotics and telesurgery programme was launched by Apollo Hospitals in Chennai on March 13.
The programme aims to take surgical expertise from specialised urban centres to all parts of the country that need it. The announcement was made during a press conference at the sixth Apollo International Colorectal Symposium 2026.
