Prof. K.S. Hegde Memorial Endowment Lecture organised at College of Engineering Guindy

The Alumni Association of College of Engineering Guindy (CEG), Anna University, organised the Prof. K.S. Hegde Memorial Endowment Lecture on ‘Technology for Grassroots People’ in Chennai on Thursday. A press release said S. Rajesh Kannan, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Kolathur, Greater Chennai Police, an alumnus of CEG, delivered the lecture.

He emphasised the importance of the responsible use of technology and artificial intelligence. He encouraged students to make effective use of the learning environment available at the CEG to identify and develop solutions to real-world social challenges.

Mr. Rajesh Kannan also urged the students to interact with their professors to have better and prudent understanding of the real world challenges to take wiser decisions for pursuing the right solutions.
