Puducherry Assembly elections: Schools to remain closed for five days from April 6

The Directorate of School Education, Government of Puducherry, has declared holidays for all schools in the Union Territory (UT) from April 6 to 10 on account of elections to the Puducherry Legislative Assembly.

The Assembly elections are scheduled to be held in Puducherry, Karaikal, Yanam, and Mahe regions of the UT on April 9. All schools will remain closed for five days in the territory, Joint Director of School Education V.G. Sivagami said in a ciruclar.
