Lieutenant Governor K. Kailashnathan on Monday evening hosted At Home (reception) event as part of the Republic Day celebrations at Lok Niwas. Chief Minister N. Rangasamy, Speaker R. Selvam, AINRC and BJP legislators, AIADMK leaders, Chief Secretary Sharat Chauhan and other senior officials attended the event. The Congress, DMK, Left parties and VCK skipped the reception. Several cultural programmes were held on the lawns of Lok Niwas.
