AIADMK leader, K.T. Rajenthra Bhalaji, seeking votes for the party after kickstarting election campaign in Sivakasi on Sunday.
Former AIADMK Minister K.T. Rajenthra Bhalaji on Sunday began election campaign in Sivakasi Assembly constituency.
Mr. Bhalaji, who is also the AIADMK Virudhunagar west district secretary, said that Thai Poosam being an auspicious day, the campaign seeking votes for āTwo Leavesā the symbol of party began in Sriviliputtur and Rajapalayam as well.
Accompanied by his party cadres, Mr. Bhalaji went around the market and distributed pamphlets that contained the photographs of the party founder, M.G. Ramachandran, former Chief Minister, Jayalalithaa and its general secretary, Edappadi K. Palaniswami.
The pamphlets also has a list of five poll promises given by the party.
It included ā¹ 2000 monthly assistance to the women, free bus journey for men along with women, free housing scheme for all, increasing the number of rural job guarantee scheme to 150 days and ā¹25,000 subsidy for buying two-wheelers for five lakh women.
Mr. Bhalaji said that the party has got an overwhelming response during his interaction with the traders and other members of public.
