Rajnath Singh arrives in Bishkek for SCO Defence Ministers’ Meeting

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Monday (April 27, 2026) arrived in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, leading a high-level Indian delegation for the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Defence Ministers’ Meeting scheduled to be held on Tuesday (April 28, 2026).

According to Defence Ministry sources, the meeting will bring together Defence Ministers of SCO member states to deliberate on key regional and global security challenges, including international peace, counter-terrorism efforts and enhancing defence collaboration within the grouping.
