Randomisation of counting staff held in Dharmapuri

Randomisation of staff to be deployed for the counting of votes was carried out in the presence of the election observers Vandana Vaidya and Dr. Hira Lal, and the District Election Officer and Collector R. Sadheesh. The second-level training of the staff to be engaged in the counting of votes was also conducted here on Saturday (May 2, 2026).

The Electronic Voting Machines used for polling on April 23 were safely secured in the strong rooms at the Chettikarai Government College of Engineering. The EVMs secured in the strong rooms have been fortified with the central security forces.
