The textile industry that was buoyed with the reduction of U.S. tariff and the free trade agreements with the UK and the European Union has expressed shock over the “sudden” reduction of rates under the Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products (RoDTEP) scheme.
This was expected to impact the yarn and fabric exporters.
