Sale of earthen pots increases following a rise in temperature

Following the rise in temperature in Salem district, the sale of earthen pots has increased. There is also a demand for the pots across the country.

For the past three weeks, temperature over 100 degrees Fahrenheit had been recorded in the district, forcing people to stay indoors between 11 p.m. and 4 p.m. Every important location in the city looks deserted during these hours. People take shelter under the trees to escape the soaring sun.
