Salem, Namakkal district administrations make final arrangements at counting centres

The district administrations of Salem and Namakkal have made arrangements for the counting of votes on Monday (May 4). Salem District Election Officer and Collector A. Arun Thamburaj said the EVMs used in the 11 Assembly constituencies were being stored at strongrooms and provided with a three-tier security cover.

The counting centre for Omalur, Mettur, Salem West, and Salem North is Karuppur Government Engineering College. For Yercaud (R), Salem South and Veerapandi, it is Ganesh College at Ammapet. For Gangavalli (R) and Attur (R), it is Sri Maruthi Educational Institutions at Thalaivasal. For Sankari and Edappadi, it is Vivekananda Educational Institutions at Sankari.
