The Brahmarakootlu Tollgate Teravu Horata Samithi organised a padayatra from B.C. Road to the tollgate at Brahmarakootlu to intensify its demand for removing the tollgate on Tuesday.
Former Ministers B. Ramanath Rai and K. Abhayachandra Jain, Samithi Convener Mohan Kumar Shetty, CPI (M) leader Muneer Katipalla and others led the padayatra seeking removal of the tollgate on Mangaluru-Bengaluru National Highway 75.
