The South Canara District Central Cooperative (SCDCC) Bank has received the ‘Best-performing DCC Bank’ award from the Karnataka State Cooperative Apex Bank.
Bank directors Shashikumar Rai Balyottu and M. Mahesh Hegde received the award from Apex Bank president S. Ravi at the annual general meeting of the Apex Bank recently held in Bengaluru.
The award was given in category II under the Apex Bank’s Reward Scheme for performing well in the year 2024–25 and achieving the business target. A release here said SCDCC Bank, which provides excellent banking services through 113 branches in rural and urban areas, is functioning efficiently under the leadership of M.N. Rajendra Kumar. The present award is the 24th Apex Bank Award for SCDCC Bank, which has been receiving the Apex Bank Award consecutively.
At the award ceremony, Apex Bank vice-president Sharanagouda Patil Bayyapura, former president and director Belli Prakash, and other directors were present.
