School van overturns on Maduravoyal flyover; two students escape unhurt

A van carrying two school students overturned while descending from the Maduravoyal flyover on Monday. The students travelling in the vehicle escaped without injuries.

Police said that while coming down from the Maduravoyal flyover, the vehicle lost balance and overturned.

Traffic police rushed to the spot and cleared the overturned van using a crane to restore traffic flow. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.

Police have taken the van driver, Harish, for questioning, and are inquiring into the cause of the accident.
