Against the backdrop of increasing climate-induced stress and natural calamities impacting agriculture, the second Telangana Seed Festival is set to be held from February 6 to 8, at The Earth Center, Anumaspally, Kadtal, Rangareddy district.
The three-day annual festival aims to revive farmer-owned traditional seed systems and strengthen agricultural sovereignty.
The festival is being organised by the Council for Green Revolution (CGR) with the support of Bharat Beej Swaraj Manch and several allied organisations. The objective is to lay the foundation for a farmer-led seed revolution across India.
