Semi-Christmas celebrations were organised under the auspices of the Democratic Journalist Forum at J.D. Seelam Bhavan premises in Ongole, on Saturday. City Mayor Gangada Sujatha participated as the chief guest, while TDP leader Raj Vimal and prominent lawyer Nukathoti Ravikumar participated as the special guests at the function.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Sujatha said, “The birth of Jesus was to save humanity from sin. He is considered as the personification of love, peace and service.” Meanwhile, Mr. Raj Vimal said that people believe in Jesus with utmost devotion and on the occasion of Christmas, prayers will be offered at every church along with devotional worship.
