Two zones in the city may face sewage-related problems for a day 24 hours, from 10 p.m. on December 19 to 10 p.m. on December 20 due to work to interconnect sewer pipeline on L.B. Road near SRP Tools bus stop.
A press release from Chennai Metrowater said sewage pumping stations, including Mylapore, Ice House, Adyar, Thiruvanmiyur, Kotturpuram, Indira Nagar, LIC Nagar and Periyar Nagar, and Perungudi will not function for 24 hours during the work.
