M. Shankar Babu has assumed charge as Secretary of the Visakhapatnam Port Authority (VPA) here on Friday (February 13, 2026). Prior to joining VPA, Mr. Babu served as Secretary at the Mormugao Port Authority, Goa. He has been transferred and posted as Secretary, VPA, by the Ministry for Ports, Shipping, and Waterways. Mr. Babu paid a courtesy visit to Roshni Aparanji Korati, Deputy Chairperson of VPA.
