The Temple of Fine Arts run by Shivanjali Trust founded by Swami Shatanand Saraswathi in Coimbatore has joined hands with Kumaraguru Institutions to organise a classical music concert titled ‘Vyom’ on December 28 at Ramananda Adigalar Auditorium in Kumaraguru Institutions campus, Saravanampatti.

This is the fourth time Kumaraguru Institutions and the Temple of Fine Arts are collaborating to organise such an event.

Musical production will be a large-scale musical orchestral programme that will feature 60 performers (that includes vocalists and instrumentalists). The entire event will be a two hour production and there won’t be any cinema songs but the music will be one that connects with everyone in attendance. This will be a classical music event with a blend of traditional and modern instruments with a blissful orchestra of students and teachers. Performers are from the age of 10 and go all the way to 60 and 60+. They are not professional concert performers but students and teachers of the Temple of Fine Arts.

Vyom means space, and like space which has no boundaries, music and the celebration of music should have no boundaries. Hence the organisers have made admission to this event on a ‘Pay as you wish’ basis. That means, there is no fixed price for a pass to this event. Those who love music can get the passes for the price they feel is right.

“Passes are not priced, allowing audience to contribute an amount they feel comfortable with and inspired to give. Passes are available at Shivanjali’s Temple of Fine Arts,Vadavalli; Annalakshmi Restaurant outlets at Race Course and Govt Arts College Road,” a release said. Passes are also available at https://www.tfacbe.com/event-details/vyom. The programme starts at 6 p.m.
