The deadline for submitting enumeration forms under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026 of the electoral rolls ends on December 18. The draft electoral roll will be published on December 23 based on the forms received by the deadline.
District Collector Snehil Kumar Singh has urged eligible voters to ensure that their details are included in the draft list by submitting the forms without fail.
A total of 26,58,847 enumeration forms were distributed across the district, of which 1,96,900 forms, or 7.41%, are yet to be returned. The ‘absentee, shifted or dead’ (ASD) list — comprising voters who are untraceable, permanently shifted, deceased, duplicated, or those who refused to submit forms — is available with the respective Booth-Level Officers (BLOs). The list has also been shared with all booth-level agents, and voters can verify their status if required.
According to the district election department, 3.9% (1,03,806) of the enumeration forms returned could not be mapped with the 2002 electoral roll.
