Special camps for submitting the documents of the lands to be acquired for the Rajapalayam – Shencottai National Highway are organised in the district during August.
In a statement, District Collector Ranjeet Singh said the special camps would be conducted at Inaam Kovilpatti (August 5), Naranapuram Part – I village (August 7), Vasudevanallur (August 11) and Subramaniapuram (August 18), all in Sivagiri Taluk, Shencottai Melur and Puliyarai (August 18), Thenpothai (August 20), all in Shencottai Taluk, Krishnapuram (August 6), Vairavankulam (August 7), Idaikal (August 10), Achanpudur (August 11), all in Kadayanallur Taluk.
Owners of the lands, which were being acquired for this national highway project, could submit their land documents in the special camps so that the due compensation would be disbursed to them shortly, District Collector Rajneet Singh said.
