With Indian Meteorological Department warning about a possible heat wave to sweep in southern districts, Virudhunagar Government Medical College hospital has set up a special ward to treat patients with heat stroke.
The ward with 20 beds has two ventilators. It also has separate restrooms and bathrooms.
