Srikakulam physics teacher receives award

Srikakulam district teacher B. Venkata Rao was honoured with the CV Raman-Madam Curie award at a function organised by KVR Jayalakshmi Educational Trust in Guntur. The award was presented by former MLC and Jana Vignana Vedika State president K.S. Lakshmana Rao. In a press release on Monday (December 29, 2025), Mr. Lakshmana Rao lauded Mr. Venkata Rao, School Assistant at Vadada Zilla Parishad High School in Srikakulam district, for his efforts to ensure that students gained practical knowledge through various experiments. He said that he had established the Trust in the name of his parents to encourage meritorious teachers. Indian Association of Physics Teachers’ representatives and several lecturers including Joga Chandrasekhar congratulated Mr. Venkata Rao on receiving the award.
