A five-day summer crochet workshop commenced at Hawa Mahal on Beach Road on Monday, drawing around 30 participants on the opening day. The programme is part of the Summer Craft Week, presented by the Crafts Council of Andhra Pradesh (CCAP) and the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH).
Eight-time Guinness World Record holder Madhavi Suribhatla, a certified crochet instructor, is conducting the sessions. The workshop is open to participants aged 10 and above.
