The Krishnagiri Taluk police arrested three persons for allegedly hurling a country-made bomb over a bus owned by a private company on Wednesday (December 17, 2025).
On the night of December 13, a private bus with their staff was headed to Krishnagiri from their company. While the bus reached Balakuri, unidentified persons hurled a country-made bomb over the bus. In the incident, company staff Dharani (22) sustained cut injuries in her hand and was admitted to the hospital. The Krishnagiri Taluk police registered a case and on Wednesday arrested M. Sakthivel (28) and S. Dhanush (24), residents of Ennekolpudhur for hurling the country-made bomb and E. Sekar (21) for supplying explosives.
Investigations revealed that on November 25, the prime accused Sakthivel’s friends Sasi and Naveen were killed after the same bus of the private company hit them. To take revenge, the accused were involved in the incident, sources added.
