Three-day CREDAI Property Expo begins in Vizag

The 11th edition of Visakhapatnam Property Expo 2025, being organised by the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (CREDAI), began at Gadiraju Palace on Friday.

As many as 71 stalls have been set up, showcasing a wide range of projects including residential apartments, villas, open plots, commercial spaces, and both affordable and premium housing options.

Stalls by leading banks and financial institutions have also been arranged, offering home loan services with special discounts, competitive interest rates, and instant loan approvals.

Inaugurating the expo, MSME Minister Kondapalli Srinivas said the government has introduced several reforms that led to vertical growth in the construction sector and generated significant employment.

The Minister noted that delivering quality projects builds trust among prospective buyers, which in turn strengthens confidence in the builder community.

MLAs Palla Srinivas Rao, Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Velagapudi Ramakrishna Babu, and P. Vishnu Kumar Raju, and VMRDA Chairman M.V. Pranav Gopal attended the inaugural and went around the stalls.

Deputy General Manager, State Bank of India, Visakhapatnam, Rahul Sankritya, said that the real estate sector was one of the major contributors to the nation’s GDP.

Chairman of CREDAI Visakhapatnam chapter, V. Dharmender, said the property expo serves as a one-stop destination for those looking to buy property in rapidly developing areas. Bringing developers, bankers, and other stakeholders under one roof makes it easier for buyers to evaluate options and take informed decisions, he added.

E. Ashok Kumar, president of CREDAI Visakhapatnam Chapter, said recent government reforms, including faster approvals and greater transparency, have positively impacted the real estate sector in Andhra Pradesh.

Subba Raju Memorial Awards

The K. Subba Raju Memorial Awards were presented to the top three diploma civil engineering students of Government Polytechnic College, Visakhapatnam, and the top two meritorious students from the Draftsman Civil trade at Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI).
